HISTORICAL TIMELINE




Employee Benefit Services (EBS) was founded in 1986 by Billie & Art Villemain as an employee benefits brokerage firm.

EBS launches Third Party Administration business in 1999 to serve self-funded clients.

EBS launches proprietary eligibility management platform, EBSEnroll, in 2013.



Spire Risk Management (SRM) acquires an interest in EBS Brokerage and TPA (as well as EBSEnroll) in November of 2019. Rebrands the consulting/brokerage firm as Spire Risk Management (SRM).


Spire Risk Management acquires, Texas State Life & Health, which specializes in employee benefits and Medicare Insurance Solutions.



SRM acquires Transnational Advisors which specializes in small and mid-market employee benefits.




SRM acquired Greer and Associates in Harlingen, TX which specializes in small and mid-market employee benefits.
